LIVE ABROAD BEFORE 30
Tanggal 27 Desember akhirnya aku dapat info kalau keterima kerja di Dubai. One of my dream lists checked again that is to live abroad before 30! dan akhirnya terbang ke Dubai di tanggal 7 Februari 2022 setelah persiapan panjang selesai. It was a long stresful process with documents and stuff, most tired is the cost that I have to spend.
Turned out that I could write about this after a year just explaining well how hectic it was to adapt to a new place, new country, new culture, and new language: THE EMIRATES
Long story short, that time was really a switch career for me and truly a HARD DECISION I've ever made in my 27 years of life, from being a good expertise Urban Planner of the Ministry to an embassy staff who does the administrative tasks mostly. Being a diplomat was one of my dreams since 9th grade because of a biography book of an Indonesian Woman Diplomat whose name I actually forgot by now wkwk and here I am now working as a diplomatic staff at 28yo when it is far beyond what I dreamed lols
I never know that working in this field is really dynamic in terms of teamwork where your supervisors (The Diplomat) will frequently change in 4 years. It's sad to send the beloved kind boss back to Indonesia sometimes but it is as it is. It can be said, every year is an adaptive year to work with a new team-mate.
However, I am grateful for the work atmosphere I get, people are kind, all of them I may say. maybe the reason is No career means No competition. I don't know how long I will stay but may Allah leads me.. SURELY will talk about Dubai later... bye
